Why buy pasture-raised pork directly from a farmer?
At Graise Farm, we raise our animals from farrow to finish meaning that the piglets are born on our farm. They are born outdoors and live their life outside with fresh air and access to clean land. We raise Hereford/Berkshire and Gloucestershire Old Spot/Berkshire mix breeds. We welcome farm visits so you can see how the pigs are raised. When you order from us, you choose your cuts based on your cooking style. We'll guide you through this process. Pork cuts from our pigs can be cooked simply with a little salt to bring out the natural flavor. And pasture-raised pork is difficult to find in stores. Look for it next time you're out grocery shopping.
Reserve your pork share today! We're taking orders now for fall 2024. With a half hog, you'll receive approximately 75-80lbs of pork (150-160 for whole hog) and more if you keep the pork fat to render for lard. The total amount of pork varies depending on each hog size and your custom pork cut selections. You pick up your pork at the processor and pay them directly for processing fees.
A $100 down payment is required per half hog ordered.
e.g. a quantity of 2 equals a whole hog, and a $250 deposit will be required. Deposit goes towards total cost.

** Processing fees vary depending on number of pounds processed and smoked (ie. bacon, hams). An estimated processing fee for a half hog is $125-$150.
