Red Ranger chickens are raised on pasture and fed certified organic feed. Red Rangers are a foraging bird and take longer to grow than Cornish Cross. The leg-breast ratio is more evenly distributed and they have darker, more flavorful meat than the Cornish. Sold whole & frozen, pick up on the farm, price per lb - $4.50, average weight per bird is 3-5lbs, down payment is $9ea, order quantities from 1-12 (for orders over 12, contact Tiffany), pick up dates between June-August (to be determined). |
